Jilin Urban Vocational Institute of Technology （National Application Code: 14426）, accredited by the Ministry of Education of China and approved by the People’s Government of Jilin Province, is a full-time general higher education institute which qualifies for National Higher Education Diploma under the National Unified Enrollment Plan. The institute is located in the Changjiang Road Economic Development District of Changchun City. The campus occupies about 300,000 square meters, and the total building area is more than 160,000 square meters. It has complete infrastructure and advanced teaching and living facilities including 36 laboratories, 70 practice-teaching training bases, more than 200 multi-media classrooms, and a library with millions of books. The institute consists five colleges and one center: College of Automotives, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, College of Public Management, College of Economics and Information, College of Architecture and Art Design, and Continuing Education Center. The institute currently offers more than 30 majors including: Automobile Inspection and Maintenance, Automobile Service and Marketing, Automobile Electronics, Green Vehicle Technology, Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly, Mechatronics, EMU Inspection, Computerized Numerical Control, Welding and Automation, Industrial Robots, Airport Electrician, Software, E-Commerce, Mobile Communication, Cyber Finance, Accounting, Urban Traffic and Transportation, Flight Attendant, Rehabilitation, Culinary Arts and Nutrition, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Project Cost Evaluation, Real Estate Management and Evaluation, Horticulture, Character Design, Digital Media Art Design, Road and Bridge Engineering, Game Design, Environmental Art Design, and Interior Design.
With more than 500 faculties and staff members, the institute has formed a strong and experienced team of vocational teaching talents that are well-qualified, professional, well-structured, able in research and teaching, proportioned with dual-positioned teachers, and adapted to the need of Produce, Learn, and Research Integration.

The institute has also built “Admission-Study-Employment Express Way” for students with many enterprises such as CRRC, Mitsubishi Shanghai, and FAW to ensure the employment opportunity for graduating students.
